Expression.

It’s what makes music, writing and dialogue come alive. It’s the magic that resonates deep in our souls. It’s what connects us.

The craftsmanship of expression is what I love. Doing it well is a lifelong pursuit.

I’ve been a musician for as long as I can remember. Early piano and guitar lessons. Church worship teams. School bands. Any and every opportunity I could find. I still love playing and singing on my church’s worship team, but I also love playing and singing at PDX Portland International Airport, which has led to many gigging opportunities… solo, duo, trio and full band with amazing musician friends.

I’ve enjoyed a wonderful career as a marketing writer—writing ad copy, web content, video scripts, press releases, magazine articles and more. The last 17 years at a day job were everything I could’ve hoped for. I served as the North American Marketing Manager and then the Content Creator for CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) where I got to connect with many well-known Christian/worship songwriters, publishers and recording artists.

Marketing writing is all about expressing thoughts and ideas as concisely as possible. So when that season ended, I never imagined that I would write a full-length novel. But when inspiration hits, unexpected things happen.

Interviewing is something I simply fell into in my role as Content Creator at CCLI, and I found that I really enjoyed it. I’m still amazed at all the opportunities I had to interview so many of the Christian/worship songwriters and artists that I deeply respect.

This website is a gathering place for all 360 degrees of these activities.

I appreciate your interest. Let’s converse, if you’re so inclined.
